Joel Kelley, Owner & Physical Therapist

Joel Kelley graduated from UMHB in 2017 with his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. He has been treating in an outpatient setting for over 8 years, developing experience with many different diagnoses all across the lifespan. He specializes in Sport Rehab and Orthopedic conditions. He is a certified therapist in Therapeutic Taping and Dry Needling. He also has conducted extensive research on increasing an athlete’s vertical, speed, and power. He enjoys the non-traditional approach to therapy as he continues to research the body and its functional performance.

He owns Legacy Beach Volleyball and trains elite athletes to prepare them for college sports. He also has a CrossFit L1 certification to coach athletes for improved strength, mobility, and performance.

Mission work is important to Dr. Kelley and he frequently prays for his patients. His therapy is focused on the Bible verse, “A thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance“ John 10:10. Dr. Kelley wants to provide his patients with an abundant life style so that they can enjoy God’s blessings of outdoors, family, and activity!
